I saved Latin!

I have a crush on Max Fischer. At some point I would like to do a Rushmore themed piece, but here's a page from my sketchbook of Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray for now.
Wes Anderson movies make me happy, except for Bottle Rocket which I couldn't even get through.
.............
Still unemployed but that gives me plenty of time to ink the days away.
I'm doing a week of vegetarian eating as an experiment.

I'ma making like a tree

Oh, Wissahickon, I love you. No more woodsy state parks for me for a while though... I'm moving to New York City tomorrow morning.

People keep asking me why, and I'm not really sure. It's just because I want to. There's no job or family or sure purpose there but maybe there could be and I've never lived there before.

Also, I need new surroundings and situations regularly to be productive at all; note the lack of updates to this blog. This is partially due to the lack of a scanner but mostly a general lack of aim and drive for anything in the past few months but shenanigans, actually being social and getting "healthy".

This place has been the home-est place I lived in a long time and I am very grateful to my good friend Mike for giving me a place to stay until I make it to New York, and it's time to move on. It's good to be young, out of school and free.

Some lovely couples...

Here's a couple of couples from the damned little books I spent a good chunk of hours handbinding. The book's called "BELIEVE IN LOVE" & six doomed couples and a brief outline of their ill-fated romances is contained inside. It's the reason why I spent so much time studying pictures online of Siegfried and Roy, and how I stumbled across this. She's so futs.

Perccy Bottum

Yes, with two C's, because Perccy has an oxycontin problem and his name just isn't pronounced the same as "Percy". That and he always wears tight pants and thinks he's Conor Oberst or something. He isn't a toolbag, he just looks like one.

Cindy Brady Achieves Nirvana

This is what happens when I'm zonked out after a bike around the Schuylkill loop, and make myself draw. Cindy's got her seven chakras opened; how enlightened of her.

I take extraneous amounts of straws, too

but not to search for secret doors on the outside of Market East Station.
I saw this homeless woman in January talking to herself, carrying a bagged plush Santa, trying to use Burger King straws to detect the secret way through the wall.It wasn't working.

FIrst image post.

I love drawing. I think I'd much rather have majored in fine art but that just isn't profitable and I wanted some discipline. But, being an illustration major doesn't mean I can't draw for the sake of drawing.
This was done in Al Gury's anatomy elective, AKA sit-and-draw-naked-people-for-5-hours class.

First post EVER.

Actually, no. I had a livejournal back when I was 14 to showcase all my inner teen angst.
Now I have a blogspot to showcase my angst in picture-form, because I've grown less articulate in my old age.

I drew nothing today worth sharing.

And... that's all for now. It's past my bedtime and I have to get up and run two miles at six tomorrow morning, do some strength training, compulsively chop a squash, change my clothes 3 times and get to class by 8:30.
